Accreditation Canada – Platinum Level with People-Centered Care Commitment Award
Accreditation Canada International (ACI) is a globally recognized, not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the quality of healthcare services. ACI collaborates with patients, policymakers, and the public to enhance health and social services, emphasizing patient safety, efficiency, and the implementation of evidence-based practices. Their accreditation standards serve as a powerful tool for healthcare organizations, fostering continuous improvement and ensuring that the care provided is of the highest quality.
Qatar Care has consistently demonstrated its dedication to quality and patient-centered care through internationally recognized accreditations and awards.
In 2014, Qatar Care became the first home healthcare provider outside Canada and in the GCC to receive Diamond Level Accreditation from Accreditation Canada International (ACI)—the highest level awarded at the time. This milestone reaffirmed our leadership in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Our commitment to continuous improvement was further recognized with a second Diamond Level Accreditation in 2017, followed by a Gold Level Accreditation in October 2020, reflecting our sustained adherence to best practices and a strong people-centered care approach.
In May 2023, ACI awarded Qatar Care a Plaque of Recognition for a decade of unwavering commitment to quality healthcare and patient safety—a distinction earned through years of consistent performance and regulatory excellence.
Most notably, in March 2025, Qatar Care made history by becoming the first home healthcare provider globally to receive the People-Centered Care Commitment Award, alongside achieving Platinum Level Accreditation from ACI. This dual recognition sets a new global benchmark in home healthcare, reinforcing our position as a pioneer in people-centered service delivery and operational excellence.

ISO 45001:2018 is an internationally recognized standard for occupational health and safety management systems. This standard helps organizations systematically identify and manage health and safety risks, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement. In line with ISO 45001:2018, we ensure that a safe and supportive working environment is prioritized, aligning with our commitment to both employee safety and quality care. The DAISY Award
The DAISY Award is an international recognition program established to honor and celebrate the extraordinary, compassionate care provided by nurses worldwide. Founded in 1999 by the family of J. Patrick Barnes, who passed away from an autoimmune disease, the award aims to express profound gratitude to nurses for their exceptional contributions to patient care. The award is open to all licensed, registered nurses and nurse leaders. Nominations can be submitted by patients, families, co-workers, or anyone who has experienced or observed extraordinary compassionate care by a nurse. Honourees receive a certificate, a DAISY Honoree pin, and a hand-carved Healer’s Touch sculpture from Zimbabwe, symbolizing the profound impact nurses have on their patients’ lives. Qatar Care is committed to recognizing and celebrating the exceptional contributions of our nursing staff. We actively participate in The DAISY Award program, ensuring that our nurses receive the acknowledgment they deserve for their dedication and compassionate care. Through this initiative, Qatar Care continues to foster a culture of excellence and appreciation within our healthcare community.
